First-ever fully decentralized NHL Draft, with all 32 teams participating remotely from arenas, practice facilities, boardrooms, and other locations.
Central production hub at the Peacock Theater, connected in real-time to every team.
Responsibility:
Coordinated and managed all audio and video infrastructure between team sites and the central production.
Designed and executed a multi-phase testing and verification plan with each NHL club.
Worked directly with team technical personnel to troubleshoot and optimize workflows.
Oversaw the transport of video/audio feeds via BitFire Networks, including:
32 draft room cameras
Two-way interviews for 32 teams
14 Fan watch parties
Celebrity remote pick segments
Impact:
Delivered a seamless, league-wide broadcast experience for prospects, families, and fans.
